The US gov't is the biggest supporters of racism as is Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Barny the Senator/Representative (I can never remember)
As long as you hyphenate titles, as long as you continually point out the obvious, like he is black, your white, your eyes are slanted, etc,
As long as you have funds exclusively for blacks only or asians only or hispanics only, etc,
As long as it is okay for the blacks to fly their flag and the asians to fly theres and the whities of the south are not allowed to,
We will always be segregated, racist and hateful from all sides.

I used to live in North Philly, and I heard some pretty racist comments direct my way when I lived there (I'm white). Some people are just fucked up. You just have to deal with it. Legislation isn't the answer, IMO. It has to come from the people, not the government. You have to find it within yourself to accept the differences of others.

It's sad that this kind-of stuff still goes on where there's a "white's only" prom party that's for whites only, but the black people are willing to have any race come to their party. Hate crimes are a joke. Black or white green or red, you injure another person it is a crime period. And it was pretty obvious at the instance of the crime you hated the other person.

I don't buy into the whole "poor whitey" feeling among some white people. I'm white, too. Black people were tortured and placed into slavery for centuries. And because of this, many white people and their descendents benefited. And so why is there such resentment toward having the United Negro College Fund? It's a good thing. You can't undo centuries worth of hate in a few decades and thus the reason for these types of institutions. There's plenty of ways for white people to get money if they'll just fill out the papers. You're not a minority that's been treated like shit so stop acting like you are.

Its a matter of proper context. Often those displaying or claiming pride in their nationality, race or ethnicity are doing so under false pretense. Many conceal their separatist beliefs by pretending to proudly identifying with a specific group.
I assume your referring to B. E. T. with your comment; "their own TV Channel." I would like inform you that Viacom purchased B. E. T. Viacom is a media conglomerate, predominately managed by white men.
Black own scholarships are usually created to offer disadvantaged, but more importantly qualified blacks an opportunity to attend college. This is no different from scholarships that target German or Irish Americans.
