WSB in Men Health ? (australian edition)

i was looking through the mag rack in my gym today before i got on the bike and saw a copy of mens health (not sure what issue) and one of the articles was about adding 10-20kgs onto your bench in a few months and from what i can gather it was pretty much telling you to do WSB.

they quoted dave tate, they advised for two lifting days a week, one speed day and one max effort day. board presses, floor presses, bands. the only thing they didnt mention was using chains.

and they didnt say anything about westside barbell.

is my background knoweledge of WSB wrong or did they just forget to give props to em?

westside is based on many different old methods from the former soviet union.

Dave tate is a consultant.....i have seen his name detached from the westsidebarbell club before.

I saw this issue too. I’m surprised they would be smart enough to find someone who actually knows what the hell he is talking about.
