wrist size

im 6ft 1 and growing. fairly thin about 145 pounds (working on it). Anyway my wrists are insanely skinny. So are my calfs to an extent. My friends 5'9 and 185 pounds very well built we're both 17 but he looks like he is in his mid 20's anyway his wrists are about twice as big as mine. Im 6'1 and i can easily loop my thumb and touch my index finger there is even space there. Do your wrists widen during puberty or anything is there a chance they would get bigger or am i gonna be stuck having tiny joints forever. My calf was about the size of this guys forearm :(.
 
Alot of people think that the size of wrist are a measurement of one bone structure. You might just have a small bone structure
 
my shoulders are pretty broad despite being skinny. Im often told i have pretty broad shoulders. My wrists and ankles are just god damn thin as hell.
 
If you're in Bodybuilding that would be considered good genetics. The smaller the joints the bigger the muscles look. Creates an appearance of bigger muscle bellies. I also have small joints, which only causes problem when doing heavy weights.
 
I have the same problems, I have started doing wrist curls about every day that I workout. Now it will not do anything for the wrist bone, but the muscles and tendons that run down to your wrist will get fuller and bigger making your wrist actually look bigger. I dont know what the hell i am going to do about my skinny ass ankles. I need to get on to the old man for passing on these shitty genetics.
 
DEISIL is right i have VERY small wrists and ive tried to use those forearm excersise things that you hold in your hand and squeeze a thousand times......then i started thinking hell when my arms grow they will just look that much bigger......

so dont worry just make those guns grow
 
nothing wrong with small wrists. It makes you forearms look bigger and that is fine with me. I used to use wrist wraps for a bunch of different exersices but I dont any more to help my forearms and wrists strengthen up.


And another thing Gorlim, dont be discouraged by your size or strength, just keep working hard and eating. I was the same stats a year and a couple of months ago. Now I am 210 (got up to 180 natural). Stay mentally strong and stick with it and you'll be huge in no time.
