Wrist size = Frame size = Not accurate?

Has anybody else noticed this calculation is wrong 10% of the time?
For alot of people i say its pretty close but ive got a friend with 7 inch wrists, and i have 8 inch wrists and he is way bigger than me and were the same height. Like his shoulders are way wider, so is his rib cage, and its not muscle either, we have about the same amount of meat on us.

Just wondering if its possible for a person to have average sized wrists like my friend but be large in frame
THanks for the help:supercool

p.s. another question i had is why do bodybuilders and powerlifters hit there prime when there 35-40?

Yes its very possible. Genetics. I have smaller wrists and hands from my grandmothers side but a large frame from my grandfathers.

To add that much strength or muscle size it takes a long time to develop. If you can stay healthy you can keep gaining.

I don't think wrist size means anything. And what is a large frame anyway? It seems like that is an old fashioned way people (insurance companies) would account for variations in bodyweight of people at the same height. In other words, you could weigh more and be "normal" if you had a "large frame". It makes much more sense to judge your proper weight by looking at bodyfat percentage and skipping those silly weight charts.
