Chris Adams was shot to death by his best friend. Best friend said he and Adams were drinking and joking around late one night and suddenly Adams went after him. The man thought Adams was playing around until Adams sat on his chest and attempted to extract his eyeball. With Adams thumb imbedded in his eye socket, the guy knocked him off and shot him in the chest. Then immediately called 911. This man was Adams best man at his last wedding. Adams had only been married a few months. Adams was also under indictment for manslaughter in regards to the death of his girlfriend in April 2000. She and Adams were partying at home when he gave her GHB to mix in with her alcohol. She fell unconscious and never came out. When she was found, Adams was unconscious as well, but due only to alcohol and not GHB as he claims. He claims that they both used GHB and he passed out, during the time which she was still awake and functioning. However, forsenic experts have noted that if this was the case, Adams would not have been so quick to awake just a couple of hours later and there is strong evidence that after the girl was unconscious and dying, sexual intercourse had taken place.

Another subject... am I the only one that thinks the ECW heavyweight belt is cursed? Look at all their past heavy weight champs and see where they are now. Mike Awesome the most dominant was lost in WCW and totally ignored in WWF. Tazz has accomplished NOTHING as well, Raven, Justin Credible, Sandman, etc... have been bottom feeders as well. Is this Vince's way of showing eveyrone that he always felt the ECW was an inferior product??? The ones who never held the heavyweight belt have fared remarkably well. RVD, Tajiri, Dudley Boys, Lance Storm, etc..

Tajiri and Lance Storm have fared remarkably well? Storm had a decent short run in WCW, but so did Raven. I don't think any of them have been standouts.

Rhyno is going to do well in the WWF. He still has the ECW strap. He keeps it at his brother's house. They'll be introducing in into the WWF once he's healthy.

Mike Awesome is, well..... awesome. The guy is a beast and I have always liked his style. I thought he'd be getting a huge push when he jumped Rhyno for the HC strap on Raw. I just found out yesterday that he is related to Hulk Hogan. Awesome and Horace Hogan started out in the business together and are cousins. I hope he gets a push when he returns.

Well..I met Chris jerico this weekend.

How tall was he in person? Was he wearing big ass boots? I take it you saw his band, Fozzy. I remember you saying he's a bad singer in some other thread.

Yep. Six Speed is the band that becomes Fozy when Jerico is around. He was wearing platform shoes and was about 5'10" or so. Big dude though. Probably about 215, which is big on someone who is about 5'7" w/o the shoes.

That's cool that you got to meet him.

Was he cool or an assclown?

Very cool. I asked him how it felt to be the one telling Ric Flair what to do since he's the man. He thought that was funny as shit. Very down to earth.
