But if you want to do a standard clean you don't need as much speed. The point is to rack the bar. If you want speed why are you even trying to learn a regular clean?
Cause it keeps my powerclean form in cheque, gives me confidence and the skill to dip down, and I may compete one day
As the saying goes, there is a time and place for everything.
I'm more like the Bulgarian way of thinking, pull the bar as hard and fast as you can rather than trying to get under it as fast as possible. Bulgarian olylifts are damn explosive - even limit full lifts!
