Women and Anabolic Alopecia, help.....

Just curious, men can take "Rogaine", Finasteride, Propecia; to help combat hairloss, especially while on cycle, what about women?

My wife is into her 25mg test prop/ 25mg primobolan every other day and this is week 5 and she has been noticing that her hair is falling out in handfulls.

I am curious what women take to combat the DHT that is produced from the test, I am guessing, that would cause to the hair to fall out.

Well, look what a little research can do;

Minoxidil (Rogaine). The currently preferred treatment for androgenetic alopecia is topically administered 2 percent minoxidil.6,8,9 Minoxidil appears to affect the hair follicle in three ways: it increases the length of time follicles spend in anagen, it "wakes up" follicles that are in catagen, and it enlarges the actual follicles. The mechanism by which minoxidil effects these changes is not known. Vellus hairs enlarge and are converted to terminal hairs. In addition, shedding is reduced. My first guess would be the same meds to stop the conversion of testosterone to DHT (finasteride, etc) AS LONG AS SHE IS NOT PREGNANT, BREAST FEEDING etc....due to the fact that these meds can be life threatening to the embryo and can affect development

Agreed. I was doing a little research, and most of the drugs men use to prevent hair loss can be used with women except for finasteride.

I have personally never had an issue with hair loss, so apologize for not being of assistance but I do believe that there are products on the market for women's hair loss if I not mistaken
