Wife and Sides on TEST

After all was said and done, the sides were increased facial and body hair. While she was on, her LIBIDO was through the roof along with clitoral enlargement which she liked. Now that she has been off for a few or more weeks. It seems that it is clearing her system. Will the facial hair subside at all. She is using various methods to deal with it. Will it lighten up as time goes on? Will there be a time when she can resume a normal low dose for a woman. What is a reasonable dose. One that will increase her libido as well. She has tested low before also. Will the sides just continue from where she left off at the high doses of test and get worse?

We WAY overdid it because we were both enjoying the various results. Will there be a time when she can do it again with a more reasonable dose? Is there a dose that would be a good balance between minimizing sides and bringing her levels up to increase libido, lose BF, elevate overall mood etc...? She was using 100mg plus a week. I DO know how high that is so save me the lectures

I don't want to offend you...and these are questions due to my own interest. Did she know she was on such a high dose..I mean, was she aware of what could happen? How is she dealing with the sides? I know facial hair can be a pain..waxing is the only thing I've found to deal with it effectively. It's easier to get it done at a spa, but it can be expensive. What kind of test was she on? I'm assuming it was test prop....

I just have an issue because you're the one asking the questions..it really should be her, honey.

The hair growth will slow down BUT will not stop or go away. The new hair is there to stay bro.

She may want to consider laser hair removel. The best lasers are safe but it takes about 6-10 treatments to remove hair for good. It will not work on light colored hair.

Any dose that brings her T level above the high normal range for women will give her sides. Test is extremely androgenic and is not a good choice for female bodybuilders that are concerned about sides.

My wife is on test gel that she gets from the local compounding pharmacy. She takes 5mg of gel per day. This keeps her T level at about 75ng/dl . Anything over 100ng will likely give sides.

If her T level is 30 or lower and she has signs of a low T level, such as low sex drive, then she would likely benefit from T replacement therapy and the gel would be the best choice.

Injections are not recommended as they cause a big spike and it is hard to keep the T level in the normal range. I suppose you could use injections at a very low dose and with very frequent pokes....such as 5mg every other day MAX ...but I don't think she would want to be pokes every other day for months on end.

Is there a dose that will be good for bodybuilding yet give few to no sides?.....the answer is NO bro! The dose that produces good gains is simply too androgenic. Ladies normally start to see good gains while on 50mg of test per week and this dose will normally cause some androgenic sides in most ladies if taken for 10-12 weeks.

10mg of anavar per day will produce good gains with very few sides and is by far the better choice for the recreational trainee.

About the libido thing.....If she wants sex a couple times per week she IS NOT experiencing a low libido bro....most men want it every day and several times per day if on testosterone. Although some women want it every day I think they are in the minority. Simply put men normally want sex more often the women after the initial "romance stage" of a relationship is over (after 6 months)

BUT...if she really does have a low libido then the test gel will help but you have to take a fair amount to see an increase in libido...enough to get her T level into the high normal range and that usually takes 5mg of gel per day.

OH!....before you get her T level checked be sure to wait for at least six weeks after her last test shot. This will give her ovaries time to "kick back in" with their own T production.

She was aware of what could happen but was not experiencing any permanent sides, UNTIL.... I guess we were deluding ourselves and thinking she could just be lucky. At the lower doses she felt no effects so we just kept bumping it up. When she did have her blood tested her levels were ONLY 5x's that of a pubescent male.

The time "on" androgens is a very important factor to consider when using steroids and trying to avoid androigenic sides as much as possible.

She should NEVER use T enanthate, cyp or sust bro as these esterrs simply take too long to clear and thus one cannot bail out of a cycle. Test prop is a better choice if she still wnats to use test.

Yeah I know , when she was on it she was wanting "it" everyday and more. She was loving it too. We just got carried away I guess. It has been six weeks or more. Her libido is normal. I am sure she(we) will steer clear of alll of it for her. After all it was fun while it lasted but I certainly don't want the side effects for her any more than she does. I must be lucky.....14 years of marriage and I can get it EVERYDAY and can honestly say NEVER turned down!

I did a cycle of prop in Jan and the only bad side I had was increased hair growth. I had a few hairs on my chin to begin with that I just tweazed every 2 or 3 days, but while on cycle it got much worse, needing to be done daily and there were more hairs. Even my eyebrows needed plucking daily instead of every 3 days or so. It took a few months after I finished my cycle, but the chin hair didn't stay as bad after I went off cycle,. But it will not go away without a permanent treatment like laser. Usually I just shave my chin hair in the shower each morning but if I plan on going out without any make-up (like to the beach) I'll pluck them with the tweazer.

I chose prop because I couldn't get var and hubby was doing a prop cycle so it was available and it's short acting, so if I saw more bothersome sides, I could stop and it would end quickly. I did 12.5 cc's EOD, initially started ETD at a slightly higher dose, but someone here suggested I switch it to EOD...I forget why, I think that was after I hurt myself and was just trying to recover.

I'm on prop again, now at the end of my 2nd week and so far, no increased hair growth on my chin but the sexual sides are kicking in so I'm keeping an eye on it...if it gets worse, I'll drop down to 10 cc's EOD and see how it goes.

I'm using this cycle to help me recover physically from surgery complications and mentally with the loss of my father and my frustration in the gym since surgery...sounds weird to some, but it's working for me. My strength is coming back, my endurance is better, and mentally I'm getting back to how I should be, and I'm dropping bf already as of this week. I was starting to have some joint problems a week ago, but that went away the past few days.

Not to confuse anyone but I beleive MRSPUDDLES means 12.5 mg and 10 mg, not cc's. Don't want to see any ladies running a whole bottle of test 100mg eod.
