Well I used to use the spellcheck, but of course it dosen't pick up the difference between contractions and possessives; I think that those are usually errors and not typos (as Velvet said).
Also, it seems that the spellcheck here no longer works, so if you want to spellcheck, you have to cut and paste the whole thing into a Word file (or better yet, type it there in the first place) and then recut and paste back here... too much of a hassle for most with 5000+ posts of "tee hee" and "LOL!!!!!"
