Why the f$ck can't anyone spell "DEFINITELY" correctly?

Typo's when people type and think faster than they can type - it's a pretty popular error.


That or stupidity.


But you can tell when it is one or another.
 
i have never been a great speller... its more carelessness than anything else.. you could call me stupid, then I could show you how to derive the inverse sqaure law using only simple geometry (needless to say, it's very difficult and takes like 7 pages o loose leaf) but then you'd think.. gee.. he cant be that stupid.

im definitely special. im sure chicks are gonna be coming there just to hook up with me but i dont know if i want to be hooking up with chicks tonight. i am waking up at 515 am tomorrow for my community service.
 
i am going to have to manual labor tomorrow. thats fucked up. i will ask if i can do some filing or something but i doubt they will let me. i wasnt made for manual labor. these muscles are for looks not for physical labor.

To answer YOUR original question, "your" is possessive; "you're" is a contraction of "you are". You're going to have to learn to distinguish between the two.

Spelling is not a strong suit on this board, for sure.
 
Grammar in general isn't a strong suit for this board. However, they need to learn because it's required in most business environments. If you speak or write like a dumby, people will begin to view you as such.
 
I usually re-read my posts before hitting the submit button and then I read them again after they have been posted. I usually do edit them for typos or other errors. But there are times when I honestly do NOT give a shit.

Well I used to use the spellcheck, but of course it dosen't pick up the difference between contractions and possessives; I think that those are usually errors and not typos (as Velvet said).

Also, it seems that the spellcheck here no longer works, so if you want to spellcheck, you have to cut and paste the whole thing into a Word file (or better yet, type it there in the first place) and then recut and paste back here... too much of a hassle for most with 5000+ posts of "tee hee" and "LOL!!!!!"

i totally agree, it is like when people have bad handwriting
THEIR brain is working faster than THEIR hand :-)

That mistake would fall into the category of typo, you fucking cum sponge.
 
I think you better run your spelling program on your karma lines, BabyDocDuvalier. In your latest -- the one in which you tell me how smart you are because you allegedly went to an Ivy League school -- you misspelled "inane."

It gave me quite a laugh.

Ya see, that's the problem with pointing out spelling errors. Next time you do one, and it will happen, you will get nailed on it for sure.

absotively right, that's why I deliberitely dident point anyones' specific errors out, just general one's.
