This is one of those times where an extra 10 seconds of preparation would have saved you mountains of pain and PITA.

Anyway go tell him you got an infection from a rusty nail or something, meybe a vitamin b-12 shot.

gw, I actually don't have an infection or abcess, never have. I was asking so I'd be prepared if it should ever happen in the future. But it sounds like the B-12 shot idea would work. Oh and by the way, what does PITA stand for? That's not like People for the Ithical Treatment of Animals (oh I know someone on this board that is going to be frustrated by that interpretation).

I had an abcess 2 yrs ago in my thigh. Had to have the damn thing cut out. I told him what it was from...
