Whole wheat bread question

Hi there,

well, I love bread, the good Whole Wheat bread. After oats, it is my daily staple for carbs... problem is that, as with everything it gets boring after a while (say, 6 months or so)...

So I went shopping for some variety and found this awesome Musli Whole Wheat Bread (apart from Beer and Würst, bread if one of the things where variety is not a problem in Germany).

So I bought this thing and it is amazin: It has whole wheat, hazelnuts, Flax seeds, sesame, sunflower seeds and even some raisins (not many, btw).

Problem is that I believe this is too good to be made a staple, check the stats for one slice:

128.05 Cals
4.03 gr Prot
21.06 gr Carbs
3.055 gr Fat
5 gr fiber

my old fashioned bread was, per slice:

104 cals
3.2 gr Prot
21.4 gr Carbs
1.2 gr fat
5 gr fiber

So the biggest difference is basically the fat content (3 times as much), but now wonder with the flax seeds, sunflower and hazelnuts...

Now let me tell, this new bread is da schizzle, is like eating fruitcake.

Question: Would you hit that whole wheat fruitcake or are you, as me, concerned about the fat content? (good fats+carbs together) I eat 1 slice/day on low carb days and about 4 on high carbs days...

I think I will at least eat the package I bought... (damn it is tasty!!!)

Is the fat broken down by how much is saturated, poly- and mono- unsaturated??

If it's mostly poly & mono fats, then I wouldn't worry about it & save it for the morning/early afternoon meals....

Plus is there any hydrogenated oils in it?? Lots of sugar?? Are you planning to compete or just going for the healthy diet?

Fats are like this:

per 100 gr:

fat: 4,7gr, out of which 1,2gr are saturated.

Carbs: 32,4 gr out of which 2 grs are sugar.

I just saw it has also oats . No hydro oils...

Competing, yep, with myself!!!

Well, then, that bread doesn't sound bad to me.... sounds tasty too!!
