I don't know if you guys have a whole foods by you, if you don't im sorry, if you do, i suggest stopping by. it's like they were put there just for me. there premade food is amazing and its healthy. on everything they make, they include the ingredients with which they make it so if you are watching everything you eat like me, its awsome. also, i picked up a couple pounds of buffalo meat which is much leaner than beef and tastes great as well. i recommend the bbq turkey meatloaf and the brussell sprouts. if you have the money to spend, i recommend you stop by

its def more expensive than the traditional supermarket. i only pick up a few things there. the ground buffalo was only 5.99 per pound and the turkey meatloaf is only 5.99 a lb also. its not everyday eating, but on the weekends when i don't feel like cooking, i stop by.

Where I live, we don't even have anything remotely close to whole foods.

there are a bunch of other high end specialized food places like wild oats, trader joes, and bread & circus. they may be worthwhile to check out if they are in the area.

unfortunately, not where I live...there are very few labeling requirements, so I tend to steer away from organic claims.

i know what you're saying. it's y i stick to the ground meat and the premade food. dont like paying a lot more money for cereal, milk, and other high priced food which doesn't do anything diff imo.

Whole Foods is expensive when it comes to meat, veggies and fruits. But when it comes to getting nuts, flax seeds, brown rice and healthy grains . . . it is way cheaper than a supermarket. You can buy them by the lb. The amount of almonds I get there is way more than I would get at a supermarket. Also, if I'm craving breads, they have breads, waffles, etc. made from rice flour, spelt, etc. that won't affect my blood suger levels.

That's why I love whole foods.
