It won't even be close.

Lewis will wipe the floor with him. Tyson has never done well with someone who has a great jab like Lewis. If Tyson can't get inside he can't do shit and Lewis has over 5-6 inches in reach advantage.

Tua tried to fight Lewis in a Tyson style and was made to look silly.

Why do people think that Tyson can still fight? He has looked horrible since he got out of jail. Hell he couldn't even beat Holyfield who isn't a real Heavyweight.

Lewis is one of the few that could have beaten him when Tyson was in his prime.

I should add the only reason Lewis is even waisting his time is for the money, the people wanna see it and there aren't many heavyweights that can draw anymore.

My predicitions just a wild guess, but i'm going with Tyson because Lewis has such a weak defence he showed that in the first Rahman fight.

If Tyson gets past Lews and lands a few upercuts, then i thnk Lewis'll be out for the count.

If Lewis just tries to dominate with jabs and good defence, then its lightly he'll win on points. - I dont wanna see a boring fight though!

Lewis will win.

I would bet vital parts of my my anatonmy to that fact.

Really the reason Lewis had a weak defence against Rahman was that he barely trained and was out of shape. He showed up 12 days before the fight and couldn't get used to the altitude.

His defence is one of the best and I don't think he will take Tyson lightly like he did Rahman the first time.

I agree with the boxing insiders that he will probably get knocked down again by someone due to the fact he takes the bums he fights very lightly sometimes. Both Rahman and MaCall took advantage of his arrogance and I don't see Lewis changing.

My bet is Tyson/Lewis will be a normal Lewis fight. Lewis making Tyson look foolish with his jab and doing what he has too. I hate most of Lewis' fights because they are boring.

What most people don't realize is that he has one helluva knockout punch. He just doesn't use it or need it much.

Lets hope that we see a slugfest, but I doubt it cause then Tyson has the advantage.

I should add that Tyson only has a lottery punch chance just like Rahman.

I will bet the farm on this one.

True, Lewis was breathing heavily and had low hands, but i think theres more to it than just under-preperation. Im not sure his chins thats good.

That is a very common thought and I am still out on that one.

I do know the two knockouts he has against him have been really hard shots on the button that would have sent done most, but there might be something to the thought because it is so widespread in the boxing community.

Lewis is a very skilled boxer whereas Tyson is a heavy hitter, i'd have to say he has the lottery punch chance as well because he does hit you like a sack of hammers, unfortunately he is also dumb as said sack of hammers. I say it goes to decision then Lewis definately... but hell it is boxing, not exactly the most crooked of all sports... oh wait... yeah it is.

I hope Tyson wins. He was railroaded into that prison sentence int he first place which ended his career. If he had never gone he would have continued to beat people. I think he is the best fighter to have ever lived. No one could touch him in his prime, I hope he knocks Lewis the fuck out.

two words Keep Dreaming

He is a hood and got what he deserved. He is a waste of space on this planet.

Tyson will lose a decision or be disqualified after doing something stupid because Lewis frustrated him.

My money is on Apollo Creed.

After not taking that fight with Drago Seriously back in Rocky IV he has been training the last 15 years like a madman. He has that eye of the tiger look back in his eyes.

Word.

Lewis has been chasing this fight? He was the one who sued Rahman so he could fight him again instead of Tyson when Tyson had a deal already, now that Tyson wants a tune up fight Lewis sues again and gets Tyson who will have his 3rd fight in a year and a half. Lewis is a great boxer but his attitude and arrogance make me want to puke. I love Mike Tyson and even I know that you can't stand up for what he's done in the past but I think it's fair to say that he's also a huge target because of his stupidity and temperment. 90% of the cases brought against him are false yet they are never recanted in the press, you just see the headlines. Reach has nothing to do with it as Tyson has shown his whole life and his hand speed and power are still unmatched in the heavy weight division. Lewis is like a modern George Foreman, plodding and jabbing with a heavy punch. He has skill but I don't think that he can put up with Tyson's speed for any length of time. He'll hold and paw and wrestle like he did with Holyfield, I just hope that Tyson is ready for that and doesn't snap. While Lewis seems generaly uninterested and bored with boxing I think that Tyson knows that this is his last chance to salvage something from his career, I see a 5th round KO for Tyson and hopefuly some respect. I just wonder one thing, if Tyson is such a horrible fighter and has been washed up for years then why is it that when people beat him thay are finaly considered great? Had Tyson beat Holyfield he would have beat an old fighter who was past his prime and gotten no respect. Holyfield wins and becomes Ali like in his praise. Tyson beats Lewis and he beats a man who has been knocked out by two bums and has no heart. Lewis wins and he's one of the best of all time. It will never matter what Tyson does, he will never get any respect as a fighter and so all I can hope for is a knockout of Lewis to at least have some joy out of boxing again.

That was quite the rant but a tad inaccurate.
Yes Lewis has been chasing this fight for a long time. The reason he sued Rahmen was that if he didn't fight Rahmen first, Lewis Vs. Tyson wouldn't happen.

Had Tyson fougth Rahmen and won he would have delayed fighting Lewis with one excuse after another. He has always had a reason why he wouldn't fight Lewis, hiding mostly behind his PPV contract. Lewis sued so he could beat Rahman and then have control cause he had the belts.

The time has long past when fighter would be considered great for beating Tyson. Look at the tomato cans Tyson fights, he fights bums for the money becuase people love to stare at a car wreck.

Lewis will do the same thing Holyfield did, make him frustrated till he does something stupid. If you think Lewis is slow and plodding then you haven't followed his career much have you.

Tyson has not been fast and dangerous in a long time. He is now just a puncher with a punchers chance. He lost his mystique years ago and is not feared by anyone worthy anymore.

Reach has everything to do with it. If Tyson can't get inside then he is usless cause he can't do much else but hit hard. Look at his fights, if he can't finish a guy off by 5 he struggles cause there is no science behind his skills. He is a thug and fights like one. He was the best when everyone was afraid of him but those days are gone with the mullet and duran duran.

Its the people who still thinks he is a quality fighter that keep putting money in his pockets.

Bigdawg, nice arguement, honestly. We can both sit here and argue back and forth what would have happened had Tyson gotten to fight Rahman and beaten him so I'm not even going to bring that up again. As for Lewis' style, yeah I think he is slow and plodding and I've seen about 70% of his fights. I'm from Canada so Lewis gets tons of press here even though he bolted to England. I definately don't see him as fast though. He has that jackhammer jab like Foreman and has heavy punches. He doesn't really dance around just kind of jabs his way in and walks in behind it, that's where my assesment of him comes from. As for the arguement about bixers being considered great for beating Tyson, what happened to Holyfield after he won? Like I said, he was thrust into the top 10 heavy weights of all time suddenly. I'm not making this up, we all know this. Boxing mags and commentators do this, the media does it. I just hope you can see my point about that as well. Tyson has proven for years that reach advantage doesn't do much against him. i have yet to see him kept at bay by someone's reach. Also who has Lewis fought? Holyfield twice, Mc Call twice, Briggs, Tua, Grant. All of those people were over rated and walked on by him. Tyson has tried to fight people but since he had no belts it wasn't worth the risk of fighting him. All said I can't wait for this fight to happen and hopefully Tyson wins.

I love debating boxing with people and that is the good thing about the sport as it can look different through others eyes.

Me being a Canuck as well have followed Lewis since olympic days when he laid the smack down on Bowe. Hey I am 33, been around awhile lol. I think he is boring but is one of the best scientific fighters that has been in the heavywieght division. He isn't really as slow as he comes across and has the size and power to fight the power game, he just does what he needs to win and that means usually outbox his opponent.

I think Lewis is a arrogant self absorbed fucker but he knows how to fight.

Its too bad that Lewis has to beat up a washed up Tyson to get the respect he deserves as a fighter. The media has made it this way and I don't understand it myself as like I said I haven't seen anything good out of a Tyson fight since before he hit the slammer. I myself don't see this being close, I would love it to be as I was a big Tyson fan until he showed what a waste of oxygen he is.

It has been a long time since we have seen a great heavyweight fight and I think we will still be left waiting after this one.

Tyson has slowed to much to get inside a jab like Lewis's. I am sure Lewis could knock him out but will figth the type of fight that wins it for him. It is boring as hell but winning is what counts as much as it bores the hell out of the rest of us.

Don't get me started on Holyfield, I think he was waaaay overrated and never considered him a real heavyweight. I wish Tyson would have fought him in his prime cause Holyfield would have awaken on his ass inside of three rounds.

BigDawg a canadian, I wondered why the fervent appreciation for lewis. Lewis is good now but was the luckiest fuck in boxing not too long ago. The fight against Bruno was telltale of lewis' career. A lucky punch(and that is incontrovertable) saved his loser ass. Bruno is the only chin weaker than lewis.Tyson is a fuck up but he would have liquified lewis at his best, hands down. Look at the Spinks 91 second fight and tell me ANYBODY was that good. You can't unless you go to Henry Armstrong or Sadler or Pep. I think it comes down to how much speed Tyson gets back wether or not it sees 5. It could be a 1 round blow out that shocks people. I'd really hate to see Iron Mike do stupid shit again after he eats MILES of lewis' jab. That jab is the way lewis could win but his chin is absolutely SHIT.

If you look at the styles and physiques involved, it very much resembles Ali/Louis. Lewis like Ali will win the fight as long as he used that jab to keep tyson at bay.

Tyson can win, but he's got to get by the jab and in close so his short arms can do damage.

Lewis by KO in the 6th.

Hey BIGDAWG I dont know how Lewis is gonna be able to run around the ring with you swinging from his nutz like that so I am gonna have to go with Tyson.;)

IF Tyson can find a good trainer and keep from losing his cool it would be the biggest upset, but hes one powerful somebitch:kaioken:
