Who in here likes Major League Baseball?

I grew up playing baseball and have been an Astros fan since I was a youngin. When baseball season rolls around it feels like I can breath again and it just feels good to be an American to go to a game, grab a baseball brew and a dog, and enjoy the sites and sounds of the game. Nothing compares to the tradition of the game, teams like the Bosox, Cubbies, Yanks, Whitesox history is un-rivaled and its a blast too pull for wildcard teams in the post season.

I enjoy baseball so much more compared to the other sports because it seems like the players are so much more presentable, respectable, and not thugged out. I used to love watching basketball but here recently it seems like everyone who plays the game is a freakin Gangsta. I cant relate to hardly anyone in that league other then someone like Steve Nash or Shaq. hah. Makes it difficult to watch now, especially post game conferences when all you hear is the player saying "you know whad Im sayin daw, I be jumpin out da gym yo, ya heard it right hurr." Or something to that affect.

Anyway, Im one of the few people I know who can sit back and watch baseball for the hell of it. Then again having a fantasy league team helps, but I was just curious if anyone else shares the same views as myself. Speak up!!

I get the YES network and the Phillies station so I watch them all the time. Was never a big baseball fan, just passing time until football gets here.

It's a long drive, deep left field, and that ball is outta here, another home run for Michael Jack Schmidt...

God Bless Harry Kalas

Yup. I'm a transplanted Chicago born living in TX, I love the WSox and Cubs (I'm rare in that regard). Agree with ya on most stuff, except for liking the Astros.
