Who here trains alone?

Hey Thai, you should checkout these groups... they scream alot so you can't hear they're lyrics, but their music is usually loud and insane:

A good rave/techno song I downloaded off KaZaA awhile back was called "Raver's Movement" by Bertocucci Fernanzano. If you're into techno at all, download it. It's pretty damn hardcore, fast-paced, and just really good... gets me insane.
 
In my close to 5 years of training I have gone through multiple partners but only 2 have been great. Anytime we were in that gym together the energy we both gave off was insane thus pushing us way beyond our limits. In my eyes a true work out partner isn't just the guy you go to the gym with, he is more like your best friend. You eat together, go out together, and have the same goals as each other, kind of like your wing man. Maybe I should put an ad in the paper "Training partner needed apply with in."
 
Alone works for me. I put on my music and hit it at my pace which is generally twice as fast as the next guy. I have had people ask to work out with me and it's fine as long as they keep up. Most of the time they don't or can't. I even had a guy blow chunks once in the trash can after legs. For me its not recreation, I have a lot of shit to do and I don't want to be there all night, so I have to make the best use of my time.
 
I train alone right now b/c nobody else trains WSB at my gym at the time I have to get there. I do have a great group of guys that help me out a fucking ton though(spotting, hold boards, etc.) I used to train with the guy who took 3rd at the Team Universe in the Heavies, but he isn't down with a powerlifting style workout though.
 
I train alone sometimes, but most of the time with my brother, whose 15. He uses much lighter weight, but we do the same muscle groups on the same days, so it helps us focus on form, reps and sets, especially me, cuz i want to give a good example being the big brother.
I've had 2 excellent lifting partners, both who were stronger than me, which was great cuz it pushed me to use more weight and not slack, and were more experienced with different excercises.
Sadly the current one got sent of to war and the other goes to school hours away, but we still lift together some weekends.
Working out with the right person beats solo any day.
 
i usually train with a partner or two cuz my friends around here always call me up to go work out wid them. i am their unpaid personal trainer it seems :confused: . but generally i would say i prefer to train alone cuz nobody at my gym lifts wid the same intensity i have :fro:
