iv seen several videos of that seminar and it looked awesome, I wish I was there and I wish someday I go to one...

videos like that also make me step back and look at my training and just think "why am i doing this exercise? am i really getting anything from it or am I just doing it because i like the pump or because it worked for someone else?"

Exactly.

Kroc hits the nail right on the head when he talks about all the fads out there. The bottom line is all the greats do pretty much the same thing - for a reason. IT FUCKING WORKS.

You don't need to do 37 different types of squats with weird progressions and meso-bullshit cycles, etc. You just need to go out and lift heavy ass weight, put more on the bar and do it again.

I promise you Shaw and Big Z aren't doing reverse curls on a swiss ball and working on their core. When you can squat (not in a monolift) or deadlift 600+ lbs your core is just fine.

Yeah about the core thing I deadlifted 350x5 then skipped a week then went to pull 360x5. I got it, but for the next 3 days my abs were absolutely wasted, far more sore than any ab specific routine I have ever done, Damn I love deadlifts!!!!

The only reason you use a monolift is because you squat a grand with no spotters.

The rest of the stuff, well....

We need to talk about that.

Mine isn't really a monolift either...lol. I have to swing-GoodMorning it out and pray I don't fall backwards. Would love to squat a grand in a year or two.
