Which split?

I'm sticking with a 3 day split, trying to decide between the two.

Sunday:Off
Monday:Shoulders/Arms
Tuesday:Off
Wednesday:Legs/Lower back/Abs
Thursday:Off
Friday:Chest/Back/Calves
Saturday:Off

OK well, personally, I wouldn't do two large muscle groups (chest and back) on the same day. Nor would I do two small (arms and shoulders).

But that aside, if I had to pick one, I'd do back and chest on Friday. Other wise you're putting four days between working large muscle groups.

I really don't feel there's a weak piont inmy training. I'm leaning towards the first split (the one I've been doing), to prioritize shoulder/arm recovery.

Oh and to those that say don't train vhest/back on the same day.... thats a bunch of crap. I've been training them on the same day for years, and it works great. I do them in compound sets...one set chest, one set back, on set chest, etc. I do arms in compound sets also.
