I like both sweet potato and your regualr potato but which should I be eating more of if I am dieting a losing weight? I know they are both carbs but which one is the better carb for the body ?
the thing with root veggies is they are hard to digest. so they could bloat you up
having said that you aren't gonna get fat off sweet potato, however you can get fat off drenching it will condiments, butter, and oil like they do at restaurants.
the benefit of sweet potatoes is the amazing alkalinity from all its minerals and vitamins it contains.
The nutrient profiles of them are pretty similar. One really isn't better then the other. I would alternate between the two. The best is variety so your body gets a wide variety of different nutrients each day
