Where should I stay at in Las Vegas??

My fiance has a conferance there next month so naturally i'm tagging along for the free trip. It's at Caesars Palace so that would be ideal for her. Last year we stayed at the Flimingo and I was super NOT IMPRESSED, that place is need of major renovation. Caesars Palace would be paid for but we are willing to pay extra to sta somewhere really fugin tits.

Last year we visited a friend that was staying at Aria and I was very impressed with it. Has anyone ever stayed there?
Las Vegas Hotels - ARIA Rooms at CityCenter

I want a place that is large enough to keep me busy looking around for a week or so, it has to have an awesome gym and a kick ass, large pool area. I would also like the place to have some restaurants with some michelin star chefs running the menu's. So whatcha think??

I'd probably stay at Caesar's, and just pay a little on top of what her company is covering to upgrade to a better room. Getting from one casino/hotel to the other is so easy that I wouldn't worry about having everything under one roof.

do you gamble?

i do gamble, mostly just blackjack. I just need to remember not to drink this time while gambling; that is such a bad combo for me :( I do remember Caesars Palace had blackjack tables that started at like a 50 buck minimum. I did like how Flamingo had 10 buck buy in's.

Anyone know how the gym is at Caesars Palace though? I can't tell from the pictures. The pool there looks a little small for my preference too. I plan on spending most of my time at the pool so that's an important aspect of where we're going to stay.

^^^^^^ Best advice right there.

Ceasars is worlds better than the Flamingo Hilton bro. That place is terrible.

I love Vegas and go 4 or 5 times a year.

Aria is nice, its new.
Favorite for me, hands down, no question is the Wynn. They got it all there.

In my top 5.
Pallazzo/Venetian
Mandalay Bay
Bellagio

Not sure what the 5th would be, there are some other top tier places. I like the Palms Place condos, off strip, but I wouldn't suggest that for you.

I was at a conference last year at the MGM Grand and they upgraded my room. I bitched a bit about something then the next thing you know they said they would upgrade me.

I couldn't find the fucking elevator so I go back to the desk and they were like "oh you have a private elevator over there"

The room had two bathrooms. Formal dining room, living room, all that. It was insane. Nice bar (you still had to pay for it but the room had a full bar setup).

Ceasars will have some pimp ass suites and what not too, work out a deal when you check in, have cash on hand, and if you don't get what you want ask to speak to a manager, just say you want to pay the difference between what you have booked and something really special for you and your fiance.

Good info bro, I'll be looking into those. Are they all relatively close to Caesars palace? It can't be too far since she'll be hiking back and forth a few times a day.

The more I think about it staying at CP might be the way to go and I ran into this nice little tidbit on how to upgrade to a suite for only 20 bucks. Read some of these upgrades it's pretty nuts especially the Frank Sinatra upgrade.
