When your over doing it?

I work with a girl that works out seven days a week. She's lost thirty pounds and looks teriffic. She lifts weights two days a week with a trainer and ,ang goes 45 to 55 minutes on the stairclimber every day. She's pissed becouse she isn't seeing deffinition and she wants enter a fitness show in three months. she eats like a bird.
I'm telling her to ease up on the stair climber and add more days to the weight room. But naturaly she doesnt believe me, so I told her I was going to post this message on the board so some experts could give there advice or opinions.
Please help out!!

She isn't seeing definition because she's sacrificing muscle along with the fat. Plus sounds like she's not eating right.

The better your diet and weight training routine,the less cardio you have to do. If you do all three, it's likely that you will lose as much muscle as fat.
 
Its tough to convince people that most personal trainers are full of crap. The 130lb twig at my gym who has zero knowledge(and hates me:) ) has a peice of paper that says he knows his shit so people head his words as gospel. Bugs the crap out of me.
 
It's all about diet. Is she eating any protein? I made the HUGE mistake of not eating protein during the first couple years I started lifting.

Send her over to the women's board. We can help her out.
