Don't cheat
If you must then do so after an intense workout...(if this is simple sugars) never eat too much fat after a workout or you'll delay protein/carbohydrate absorption.
just cheat with good foods. You can go out to fast food and still come out of your meal relatively healthily. I go to carls jr for my cheats and get charb. chx sandwich on wheat. Aside from teh sweetener in the bbq sauce.. there is virtually no fat, a shitload of protein, and great carbs in the whole wheat bun. It tastes good too
