Just came home. It was much more difficult than the first one, and he definetely asked me very specific questions about my dedication.

Jerkbox yea he asked about salary and I just said give me whatever lol

Dude, you just gave yourself a demotion by saying that. He`s gonna give you the lower end of the scale now. dammit.

I`m not sure if even deadlifting the desk on your way out, you could avoid that now.

The thing is they have specific salary requirements, and I go over those requirements I will not get hired. Plus this being my initial job placement I was in no shape to demand them to give me money.

yeah never say "just give me whatever" if thats what you mean, say with todays job market i will be willing to accept $60k

Gonelifting, it was an initial position, I just finished college, and this should be my first permanent job. When he asked me how much money you want, i just told them "Give me the initial offering". The guy goes, "You dont have specific income bracket in mind?", and I answer "No I don't". Because I knew that I have people competing with me for the position, and they wont get it because they want too much money, just how much I have no idea.

Are you serious? I`m not sure if you`re joking or not. You got a feel for it at the HR interview I`m sure, to give a reply like that. So I would`nt worry too much.

Was there a pay scale? Did the job offer come with one or just help wanted type of thing? Is this job the one you WERE doing? Is it more responsibilities? Then you should get more than what you previously received.

That`s cool bro, better a (possibly) lower paying job than no job. That`s why people say "do the research" before applying for the position. Then you would have an idea of where and what to expect , salarywise.

Well once you get your foot in the door you`ll be fine I`m sure. good luck to you.

they ask that question for a reason, they want to know that you know what the pay is or if you have any idea what the hell is going on
