Whats everyones strongest RAW freeweight movement and lifts?

Mine is the barbell hacklift 585 off the floor, would like to see everyone elses also!

Compared to the rest of my lifts, and my bodyweight, I'd say my seated military press is my strongest. I can do 5x5 with 190 right now. Most I've ever done, a while ago, was 230.

And although it's nothing huge and amazing, I am proud of my 420 deadlift.

Damn!!!

Well in terms of total weight for me it's deadlift. 735 last time I tested it. Not sure what it is now.

600lb dead, raw at 215lbs bodyweight
squat 455lbs for 5 reps, ass to the floor no belt(havent done a single in a while
before I blew my rotator cuff, military press, lowering the bar to my upper chest, 255lbs for 5x5

In terms of total weight, deadlifts.

My strongest lift for the lift, I would say behind neck presses. I have worked to 185X8 on them. I stopped doing the exercise for injury concerns, so I am sure it has dropped a good bit now.

Regular military press, i've done a 1RM of 235 (bring down to upper chest) with back support on smyth machine. This was like 6months ago, I haven't done any lifts with back support (in an attempt to strengthen my core) for a while now so I am not sure what it would be.

if you mean fullrange lifts its gotta be the trap bar deadlift... I just pulled 410 for 20 :)

some of you guys are crazy strong on the overhead stuff, what's your secret??

My shoulders just blew up after I started lifting. Before they were tiny and made my head look big, after a few months there was a noticable change.

They always grew fast, now I just dropped the back support and the weights came down A LOT. When I do seated OHP like this, the only place I feel it is lower back. My goal is to get my back to be to par with my shoulders, so I can use the same weights without back support. :)

I wish my chest would grow as fast as my shoulders ...

my squat and conventional deadlift are about 10 lbs apart. 355 and 345 respectively, with my bench trailing along at 295.

so....just shy of 1000 total. 995.

My deadlift...

what do u mean squats?? u don't even DO squats..or has that changed?!? :D

haha Heard that before, but never really believed it. Thought deads were good for all around strength as well.

well u should...i'm an example of this as well as other powerlifters..even on this board!! tb

Squats build the deadlift. Deadlifts test the deadlift.

true...something from the two(squat and deadlift) causes the bench to rise..i'll have to dig in my inventory of books to locate that information but i believe it to be true. tb

No shirt or suit. No belt.

or straps, wraps, etc, just you and the bar

My best lift used to be my dead lift (600lbs @ 198.) As of recent, my favorite lift has become the seated overhead press. My best at this point is 330x1.

Damn 405! You guys are freaky strong!! Never tried maxing on front shoulder presses. Do you lower the bar all the way to your collar bone? I used to just lower it to chin level. Awesome!

Thats what Im thinking.I saw a guy do 315 for reps and I was like WTF, the same dude I told you who did 405lbs for 12 reps on reverse bench, never seen a 405 military. Id love to see that! If you can get any pics please post em!!!! Awesome!! :alien:

:FRlol: :FRlol: :FRlol: Awesome brother!! I expect to hear about it when you start them!!!

deadlift for me I pulled 255 from the floor no chalk or anything
then its squats ass to floor with 235 for reps. ive added about 50lbs or better to these to lifts since september before that I was on a break for roughly 8 months, started with 185 for one on deads in sept and 170 for one in squats

deadlifts for sure

That is odd. If you can press 405 overhead, your incline should be in the 500 lb range. Overhead is a much harder movement for the human body than incline, because with incline there is a shorter range of motion and you can use more muscles, including the same muscles that would allow you to do the overhead press. Why do you think that is?

i knew that would get confused. i meant overhead shoulder presses with 405. i venture to guess that i would be able to handle 350 or more if i maxed. tb

in terms of bodyweight 430 bench at 217...totally raw - no shirt or wrist wraps

deadlifts for sure

Dude, when I get home, I gotta get a bunch of your shirts & stuff!

TOO COOL!

"If the bar ain't bendin, then you're just pretending!"

I love it!

I would have to say deadlift for sure. I just pulled 205 last week at 110 lbs. bodyweight. It probably doesn't sound like much to anyone who has trained hard for awhile, but I've never lifted that much before -- and I just switched to powerlifting within the last two months. So it's a work in progress! =)
