Im on my cutting stage and i usually use skim milk with my protien shakes, but now im trying to stay away from the extra sugar. I have both optimum nutrition and eas simply protien and both taste like crap mixed in water. What can I do to make it taste better? I thought about mixing half skim milk and half water but would that still be to much sugar, say before i go to bed? Any help at all.....

You'll get used to the taste of using only water after a while....

If dairy leaves you smooth while cutting - just stick with the water - it just takes some getting used to after eliminating milk...

Some people don't have any problem with dairy when they're cutting - so try the half and half thing if the taste really bothers you. See how your body reacts and go from there!!

Look for low carb items to add for flavor. I often use instant coffee and cinammon with vanilla whey. Blend it with ice and it tastes like the expensive iced coffee drinks served at Starbucks and others. Almond extract, natural peanut butter, mint extract and others work well.

If a little bit of carbs don't scare you, try non-fat fruit flavored yogurt. A half cup works wonders and only adds about 10 grams of carbs.
