What is your favorite sushi roll?

Man, I love sushi. I eat it at least twice a week. The reaon I guess is because i just discovered it 4 months ago. I mean it is like tasting pizza or hamburgers for the first time at 38 I have alot of catching up to do for the years I missed.

My favorite now is a Dragon roll with a twist. It has smoked eel, crab(instead of cucumber) with avocado and 2 kinds of fish eggs with manachino cherrys on top with some eel sauce. Oh my I am getting hungry again and I had TWO for lunch.

What about ya'll? And if you are some redneck that says you like your sushi fried you are missing out my friend.

philly rolls
california rolls

but the best is this one i get called a las vegas roll:
unagi on the outside, shrimp tempura on the inside. with eel sauce and crispy flakes on top.

actually im polishing off a california roll as we speak. LOL.

Dynamic aka Dynamite Roll.

Tempura shrimp, mayo, salmon roe with the rice on the outside.

I'm more of a 'regular' sushi fan tho... dont usually go for rolls.

I don't eat sushi actually. Last time I tried it, I turned 3 shades of green. I then decided that would be the last time I tried it. ;)

I prefer sashimi for the omega 3 content, but spider rolls are the tastiest.

the dynamite roll I've had was spicey tuna and eel i think...might have had the roe on the outside too....

this is one of my favorites....

Dragon Rolls are awesome as well

however usually I just prefer a nice piece of tuna on top of some rice. yum.

what's a spider roll? oh yah, in my gallery on page 5, tell me if you recognize anything.

It's a sushi roll with a giant fried prawn sticking out of it.

I love the viking roll at benihanna, its a huge roll with salmon and some kind of sauce and salmon roe on top, then its baked, its sooooooooo good, otherwise I love the eel roll, I really like the salmon roll, sashimi is good, but I like the texture of the fish

LOL, wow.
Back when I had hair, pre-treatment days.

i just prefer some sort of fresh raw fish without anything else. preferably ahi or ono. those are the hawaiian names. ahi is yellow fin tuna and im not sure what ono is but it means really good in hawaiian.

i like dipping it in a powdered mustard and soy sauce mix.

Stuffed tomato.. Tuna wrapped around spicy scallops.

prefer sashimi or anything tuna....Went to this one place in Dupont Circle Sushi Taro for $30 all you can eat during the Cherry Blossom Festival...Good as stuff that i've tasted in the DC area.

Recently went during normal nite and was even better, but more expensive.

philly roll, santa barbara roll

gtrcivic, sushi is way cheaper than that on average out here. There are obviously many upscale places but I know of 3 fairly nice establishments that offer <$20 all u can eat rolls.

rainbow roll
dragon roll
and there's all kinds of rolls this one place has and they vary from time to time... they're all combinations of differernt types of fish/crab/sometimes shrimp. They're usually very colorful and are a little more expensive but most certainly worth it. one of them has different types of fish on the outside and avacado and eel on the inside. fuckin-a dude.
