I would honestly have to say Star Trek The Next Generation. It was the only Start Trek I ever thought was any good. I think the combination of the writers and the cast drew me in. The cast had a very dynamic inter-relationship that washed very well.

The only TV show I've watched in the last several years has been Stargate, only because my father was always watching it, and I was a big MacGuyver/Anderson fan when I was very young. And the jacked black guy was pretty cool, too.

In my opinion Star Trek Deep Space Nine was as good as TNG, for the same reasons as you've listed above. The ensemble cast was top notch.

I was a big fan of Farscape, too bad Scifi Channel screwed them out of a fifth season.

These days, I only bother to turn on the TV for The Simpsons.
