What is the STRONG taste in Liquids?

I just got some liquidex from the sponsor and I'm curious about the STRONG taste...what is that? I'm sure its a preservative, but what?

the liquids are suspended in grain alcohol... its not mouthwash... just take it straight down... use a chaser if you need it

You are just shooting it straight down and it is such a small amount that it really isnt a big deal. Just swallow it down and chase if needed.
