What is the most common personal training certification

I see at my gym they are trying to recruit PT's in an attempt to lure newbies in. (Good luck though as some hardcore mofos make up about 80% of the gym membership)

After recalling how sorry the PT's at Baileys look, it makes me wonder how easy it is to get certified?

Anyone on here done it recently?

ACES is probley the most common, for about 200-300 bucks you can get certified in about three-four weeks.

back when I got certified ACES is what I got, basic bio, kinetics, along with CPR, basic physical therapy, diet, weight training are all taught.

btw you don't need to be a pysical freak to PT, it just helps in getting clients.

Oh they are offering some week end course in getting certified for PT'ing at the gym.

Thing is, the average client is not going to like going to a juice mecca like this, and the ones who do will learn more watching other people work out in one week than they would in hiring a trainer.

Yes

Checked it out NESTA seems pretty good. All at home jobby.
