I'm curious how much mg they inject them a week. I think its like 200 every other week isn't it? if so there alot bigger than us and require less dose why?

Horse vets use about .5 mg per pound of body weight. They mainly use it to relieve inflammation and pain associated with arthiritis and to enhance muscle tone. Therefore, less is required.

On the other hand, us humans want to build muscle and this requires a higher dose.

they also use it in racing horses for better performance. i have no idea about the dosage for that.

Dosing for horses

My uncle owns standardbred horses(harness racing) and he said the vet must administer the drug and can't go over 8 cc's of equipose of a week. Seems like a pretty small dose, but he said the mares and philly's start acting more aggressive within two weeks. But then again I don't believe in roid rage so...

Dosage for a horse is usually around 400-500 mg per week depending on the total weight of the horse.

This sounds about right, because racing horses weigh @ 1,000 pounds and a typical dose is .5 mg per pound of body weight which would be (1,000)(.5)=500 mg. Damn, we take as much as horses do and some of us even take more!
