What exercises do you guys use straps for?

I usually save them for my last couple of heavy sets on back day when my grip strength is going. Also use them for heavy bb shrugs.
 
i use straps for alot of things......deadlifts, pullups,i even use them for shoulder raises find it easier to kill my delts and get good form with them
 
I use mine to tie my gym bag shut when I train at the University gym.

I use them for stiff leg deads. I used to use them for almost all back exercises, but i felt my forearms were losing size / strength. However, on stiff legs [and soon regular deads] i use deads cause i dont like any distraction from the area i am concentrating ones. For all i want to know, my hands are welded to the bar and i dont want to think of my grip.

I dont know how some of you gusy do deads for reps with huge weight. That is super impressive!!!

What are straps?

On a serious note.... My grip is strong enough that i dont need them... maybe one day I will... but not right now... no point in using them unless you REALLY need em in my opinion
 
i definatly need them for my last sets of deads. Today i gave rack deads a shot and tried got my heaviest weight for a sloppy barely 3 without straps , but then i used straps and got a solid 6 and was able to focus on form and controlling the movement more. SO they definatly are called for sometimes. but props to those that dont need em
 
I sold my straps so I could buy a tractor to move my chalk back and forth to the gym
