What can you high rep 225 for?

I cannot get over 17 reps. I would like to be at 25-27 range in a month or two.
 
5. I weight 175. Greatest, you want to go up 10 reps in a month? You must have juice streaming out of every pore. :D

Same here dude! I weigh the same as you too. 6 is a struggle.

wow im surprised thought you would of done alot more, actually im very surprised at the low numbers from most of you on here, im far from big and can outbench most of you easily

well....overall, i'm not very strong for my size...and i'm not really that big either.

yeah only 10 is amazing I thought you weighed over 230 lbs.
I bet you can do more.
 
Twice in my life I hit it for 21 times, that was about a year and a half ago. Only do dumbbells now, but can get the 120's 12 times. I want 15 though. I doubt it... too much negatism in my gym

YOu should hit it more than 21 if you are doing the 120's for 12, I would think
 
I haven't tried to go heavy on flat bench in a while since I have been trying to balance out my physique. Usually flat bench is pushed back to the 3rd exercise for chest. I am sure I could rep it out for atleast 15-20 since everything else has gotten alot stronger in the past couple months.
 
Shadow, like I said, i haven't touched bar bench in around a year and a half, well, that is what I meant anyways. Shortly after I hit it for 21 I switched to dumb bells. After I get the 120's for 15 I might try it again, we'll see.

I just get a much better rush out of d-bells, plus no one uses them in my gym so I never have a waiting problem.

For me probably 12-15 right now. I'm just guessing but I do a warm up set of 8 with that usually and it's easy. I know that's not very strong. Chest is a weak point for me. I weigh 200 btw.
 
In case anyone is wondering, i can decline bench 185

27 reps is the most I've done with 225. I'm leg pressing more than I ever have. 1000 pds or 10 plates on each side, whatever that is, for 10 reps and they're not 3/4 reps.

Damn, you guys that are 175 and smaller are pussing out on me! I hit 225 raw when I weighed 123lbs, lol. I can do it for at least 20 reps and I only weigh about 180 now, off-cycle. Smaller guys should be stronger lb for lb, outlift those big fat-asses, midgets rule the gym!! :D
