I could either go to the city with some friends or to the casino and meet up with some white trash chicks I used to "know".

But I am not in the mood for either. It's gonna be a chill night. Got a steak, some creamed spinach, clams casino and a really good bottle of merlot (Duckhorn Vineyards).

Im still entertainng the idea of going to the gym. Ive been so lethargic the last two days. The weather here doesnt help. Should I go for SLDL's and ham work? I need it

I like him for his defense too because it's rare someone plays D in the NBA outside of the center position. I'm just surprised you don't like Jason Kidd.

BTW, I think it would be key if you put up your Rainatar right about now.

surprised why? I hate J-Kidd. that foul shot routine he has is the worst thing I have ever laid eyes upon. I respect his skills though. I like Duncan too.

WTF??? He has the most exciting personality out there man. Tim Duncan smiling would be a greater achievement for his career than his MVP award.

I thought you would like Kidd cause he can play some D, he's white, and he's from your area.

I like Duncan cause everybody has the same reaction you do. But the guy is phenomenal and takes care of business. I like it.

I stopped caring about the NBA years and years ago. I grew up a Celtics fan, in the time of Bird, McHale, Magic, then Jordan.

This shit out there now is just not basketball.
 
Artest is a straight jig. He sucked in college and his career has been mediocre, at best. It shows with his amazing performance as we speak.

Anywho, I'll be gambling tonight on more games. I bet on arena football today and I have to idea what it's about. Dallas and the over :o

They won 62-59...It's a two-fer cover. Spurs win tonight and I have a three way parlay in the bank with Milwaukee and St Lou -1.5

I can understand that. My mom and dad both went to Wake and I remember watching Duncan play in the early 90's.

At the same time, I can understand why Duncan would want to be so quiet. He probably doesn't want people intruding in his private affairs. He's a private person and not cocky like other players.
 
I could go out but I dont feel like it. One of the two guys I was seeing turned out to be a REAL ass and the other is away and wont see him till one day next week maybe.

I might go over to hang at my sis' but I dont really feel like leaving my apartment. It's cold and damp out.

Will most likely take another hot bubble bath and go to sleep early. I have been feeling sick today and havent really slept well. Yup, probably take some drugs and go to sleep. LOL

I honestly could not be happier. I know it sounds so cliche, but she has simply made my life worth living. Not that I was miserable before, I was very happy before, but everyday she makes my heart grow bigger. When she "talks" to me, when she smiles, it all makes me smile and cry at the same time.

Of course, it is not all sunshine and roses - she is hard work. SHe is a GREAT baby, very easy. but sometimes she is fussy and you can't figure out why. A crying baby can drive you INSANE. A good nights sleep is about 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I spend more time taking care of her than taking care of myself. In the morning, I have to wake up at 5am, feed her, change her, dress her, get her ready for the day, THEN I can get myself ready. And if she gets fussy while I am getting ready? Then I have to stop and tend to her. Then, when I get home, I have to feed her, tend to her before I can even change my clothes. Life is basically about her needs. That is the hard part - not having time to just RELAX. That has been my biggest adjustment.

But she is amazing, wonderful and so freaking CUTE. :heart:

OK NYCgirl talking about the Italian Festival & KB mentioning wine made me want pasta tonite.....with wine.....so hubby is making me dinner now....
 
i just went out to dinner, where I had 2, count em 2, martinis. so i'm a little silly. I'm going to go over to a neighbors house and help him paint.

eh, then the gym closed. I feel a tad bit nauseated which I guess means I worked hard. Ive only been back to doing SLDL (it's the only lower body compound movement I can do with this PFS) for about a month and my strength and grip is definitely getting better week after week. Good sign.

eh I havent deadlifted conventionally or squatted in almost a year and it's a lil bit depressing knowing that I probably wont be to a point where I can really do that. And also depressing that I never really reached my strenth potential in those movements either - I had so much more progress to make with my weak self.

oh well, ya do what ya can.

Big NASCAR fan, but not really that interested in seeing a race live. I like the couch, kitchen a few feet away, and climate control. :)

And Smoke finished second! Great race, lots of guys ran out of fuel in the last four laps, which really shuffled things.

Bro, you have to go. I am FAR from a NASCAR fan, but the first race I went to (Fontana, CA) was just an amazing experience.

I know, people tell me I must go, but I hate traffic and crowds so much I would rather gouge out my eyeballs.

I maintain my position: I'd only watch a race if I could helicopter in shortly before the beginning and out soon after the end, and get to watch from a VIP-type area. (not the pits, I hear you can't see shit from the infield, though I wouldn't mind meeting some of the drivers or seeing some of the machines up close)

KB if you ever get an opp like that LMK! But after this post you probably think I am a spoiled brat!

Also, I like people-watching, but I am not a judgemental person so I don't get off on seeing people who have less advantages than I do and laughing at that.
