most INT. from US ask for ID - they are not supposed to if it's under $300 but they still do.

WU doesn't have clear policies; yes, they might have some BS on the site or sheets, but they can ask for anything they want.

Yes I had to show ID when I sent money to china.It was worth it though.Only cost me $14 to send $550.This has been the only time out of 7 that I was asked for ID.

due to possible terrorist activity they ask for ID quite often. they figure if your not willing to show ID your up to something. the same goes for renting a uhaul not only an ID but a major credit card as well. because terrorists have been known to use these for their activities. its not so much a problem showing an ID to send money, its picking it up is where the problem lays. thats where they knab people. just be careful.
