well, here we go , 40lbs to go...on to ft. benning training log

well i started out the morning with an intense cardio session which lasted 1 hr... well heres what i will do today:(both training and diet)

7 am- wake up 2 tabs of NYC w/ 160z of water

7:15 am- 1 hour of running

9:00 am- meal 1- 4 egg whites 1 yolk, 2tbs of olive oil, 2 multi-vitamins

11:00 am- meal 2- 1 can of tuna fish, 2 tbs of olive oil,2tbs of lemon juice

12:15 pm--- 2 tabs of NYC

1:00 pm--1hr----workout----- upperbody----chest,bis,tris, shoulder,back,
2 sets per body part (1 heavy set low reps, 1 light set high reps)

2:30 pm--meal 3--- post training --- 2 scoops of whey protein( I didnt add any fats to this mealbecause it would slow down absorption, totally defeating the purpose)

4:00 pm---meal 4--- 4 oz of chicken breast, 1 cup of greens, 2 tps of olive oil and vinegar

7:00 pm--- same as meal 4 except 2 multi- vitamins

9:00 pm----hopefully sleep

i also drink 1.5 gallons of water

also the formula im using for ckd bwX8= calories for the day

totals for the day 1700 cals 130fat 129pro

if i feel the need to i will add another session of cardio before bed.

well there you have it... ;)
 
well, i did add that 1 hr session of cardio before i went to sleep. other than that lets see whats on the agenda.

day 2:

basically same as yesterday minus the cardio in the morning.

diet pretty much the same, only i add 1 oz of cheddar cheese to meal 1:D

i worked the lower portion in the weigthroom today(i.e. quads,hams,calves,abs) i also did a 1hr of cardio after on the treadmill at 3.5 mph. tonight, before bad i plan on another hour

tommarrow, upon wake up, i will check my urine for ketones and also check my current bodyweight.
 
hey im leaving to ft. jackson in Jan. We'll i think that the lemon juice will kick you out of ketosis but im not sure. Can someone correct me? I got a question for Mr. X also. On ckd.com everyone is taking postworkout carbs (about 30g dex) in there shakes and they are saying that it absorbs too quick to kick you out of ketosis and it will refill muscle glycogen not liver glycogen thats is why it doesn't kick you out. They say its crucial to preserve muscle. Is this true or no?
 
from reading - if you are doing a CKD - it is better to have SOLID food for protein with a little fat .. i generally have about 50 g's of protein with 20 g's of fat (protein converts very efficiently ) so the fat helps there ...

the protein shakes are broken down very quickly and they will be used for energy which is what u dont want.

as for the lemon juice kicking you out of ketosis .. i am not sure ...
