Hi,
I have weird problem 2 week ago I was on vacation...it mean I didn't workout almost 10 days, just hiking, walking. I lost 4 pounds. After vacation I start workout again 4 days weight training and 5 days cardio {40min each session}, now I gain 8 pounds. What's wrong, that impossible.
I don't know what to do, I was today at my doc. he check me and he find out I have metabolic syndrom {high insulin}. I'm so confused, I want really lose weight. I still taking now 250mg synthroid...for better function my hormons. Now doc gave me xenical, my daily fat intake is not too much, but he said I should b go up with fat and lowe my carbs. OK.
Now I don't know what to eat, what to do, I don't understand why after vacation I gain in short time {2 week} so much weight. Because metabolic syndrom I have longer time. He checked my insulin 8 mont ago too..I had high too.

Post up exactly what you eat and when:
IE
8 am
1/3 oatmeal
6 egg whites

10 am
4 oz chicken
1 cup green beans
etc...
 
Water weight.

Two data points of weight pretty much means nothing. Bodyfat measurements would've given you more relevant info on fat / muscle ratio or daily weight measures would at least give you an idea of general trend up or down. Water weight can vary by 5-8 lb on any given day.
