wearing jewelry while working out

was curious how many of you wear jewelry. specifically necklaces or engagement/wedding rings. I have an expensive ring I just got and I don't want to lose it or have a weight slam it.

just leave it at home? I really don't trust locking it up in the locker room and forgetting it or having someone steal it

I wear my necklace, it's a cross that was blessed by a priest, so I don't often take it off... And I suffer from irreparable nerve damage in my left hand, I wear a copper bracelet on that wrist. Other than that, nothin else. I wouldn't lock anything up either

I find that it can be uncomfortable with my rings on under my gloves. The few times that I wore the rings without gloves they ended up a little scratched up on the back. I leave them at home or in my car (hidden of course).

I leave all of my items at home ,i'm not there to look pretty, even my workout clothes are battered from lifting heavy at the gym, i'm not there to impress anyone except myself!

I wear my engagement and wedding rings with no problems, despite lifting heavy weights (e.g. up to 225 lb deadlift). The rings are still in great shape (I get them checked/cleaned every couple of months), and they don't bother me while lifting. I usually wear gloves, but occasionally not. I had the same internal debate when I got engaged. I decided to keep wearing them for several reasons. My rings came from a reputable company with an awesome replacement warranty that will cover repair/replacement if I damage them. I also didn't want to be taking my rings on and off all the time, nor did I want to leave them in my car or the locker room. I work out right after work and didn't want to leave them at home all day. And I waited a looong time to find Mr. Right, so I didn't want to take those babies off.

I always workout with my earrings in, other than that - no jewellery at all. drives me mad to be honest, esp necklaces!!
