GET THE FUCK OUT!! Don't want no pot dealers in here. (referencing last medical marijuana user being fired)

---
Wal-Mart officials are looking at security tapes after an announcement was made for "all black people'' to leave a store in South Jersey.

A man used the public-address system at the Route 42 store in Washington Township Sunday night and calmly announced: "Attention Wal-Mart customers: All black people leave the store now.''

Patricia Covington and Shelia Ellington were inside the store when it happened and told the Courier Post that customers and store employees looked stunned when they heard it.

"In 2010, I want to know why such statements are being made because it flies in the face of what we teach them [our kids] at home, and that's tolerance for people," said Ellington.

Ellington and other customers let store management and police know they were upset.

They asked the store to use the same announcement system to apologize to customers that night, which it did.

Wal-Mart management called the incident "unacceptable," and said it's working to make sure nothing like this happens at any other stores.

Washington Township police and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the incident as a possible bias crime.

"I can't believe it in this day and age," Covington told the paper. "Wal-Mart needs to be more responsible."

Covington and Elllington are boycotting the store.

lol Im guessing it was a customer playing a prank. It's easy to get a hold of one of the phones (paint dept especially) when nobody is around and hit the page button.

i bet the place was empty when the blacks left

As Wallyworld invariably loads up with the lower SES peeps of the area, the answer could be yes.

There's one around here I've been to a few times that would be the place to plant a bomb if you wanted to kill every single last redneck in the 100 sq mile radius of that location.

Nope.

Cashiers do not have access to the intercom. They can only flip their light switch when they need a manager.

Stock and floor help doesn't either. They have walkie talkies.

You have to have the access code to activate the intercom. Had to either be loss control personnel or a manager.

really, and Moderators start calling out names and lifestyles around here now!? VERY unprofessional of any Mod or Mentor to use that kind of infamitory language of anyone. If you are in a position of some authority here on EF, that kind of behavior is totally uncalled for imo.
I've been around here for years, this is the first time I've seen language like this from you. I'm really floored as you of all people should understand what name calling is all about, especially if it has the word "bomb" which insinuates "kill" anyone being that they're different from yourself.

and yes, I'm a Redneck. In case you were wondering...

lighten up, Francis.

nope... since you caught that, I'll stand by it. Totally uncalled for imo. To hang the meaning on 2 little letters, i & f, that's not what the Mods say, not how Mods act, they act with discression, and use the same maturity and "above the fray" attitude that got them the position. Just as one wouldn't say, "if" you wanted to bomb all the homosexuals and lesbians ( I won't use the slang) go to XXXXX and set it off". It's just outrageous and rude to write that, she should have used better judgement imo.
Uncalled for, don't need it here....
Now if you ARE a redneck. and you make those statements, sobeit. A good example is AAP, he says shit that it totally outrageous about a certain segment of our society, but when you are one, what can you say. I'd never say the things he does, nor should I.

and some of my best friends are too. I grew up in Georgia.

C&C is the forum EF uses for tongue and cheek remarks. Let's move on now.

access code is #59

see how easy it is to get a hold of a number?

I hate white people.....lol

they arent allowed to live in my neighborhood im sure by choice with every other neighbor flying a confederate flag

Geneticists say we share a common ancestor from 7-10 million years ago.
The oldest human remains are from Africa.
Racism is illogical because we are all related.

This is all true, but it's a dangerous argument. We parted ways a good 20,000-80,000 years ago and that's well within the evolutionary envelope. Using your argument opens the door to a discussion over whether one geography or another evolved better, faster, etc. etc.

I know it's wrong and everything....but I would have had to duck out a fire exit I'd be hacking so hard from trying to reign in the laughter. People in the store would have heard this howl of laughter right before the alarms went off from opening the fire exits.

My geography makes me say "eh" and like winter

lol @ the kid being arrested.

Temperature, skin color, per capita income, and IQ: An international perspective

Abstract

The impetus for our study was the contention of both Lynn [Lynn, R. (1991) Race differences in intelligence: A global perspective. Mankind Quarterly, 31, 255–296] and Rushton (Rushton [Rushton, J. P. (1995). Race, evolution and behavior: A life history perspective. New Brunswick, NJ: Transaction; Rushton, J. P. (1997). Race, intelligence, and the brain: The errors and omissions of the revised edition of S.J. Gould's the mismeasurement of man. Personality and Individual Differences, 23, 169–180; Rushton, J. P. (2000). Race, evolution, and behavior. A life history perspective (3rd edition). Port Huron: Charles Darwin Research Institute] that persons in colder climates tend to have higher IQs than persons in warmer climates. We correlated mean IQ of 129 countries with per capita income, skin color, and winter and summer temperatures, conceptualizing skin color as a multigenerational reflection of climate. The highest correlations were − 0.92 (rho = − 0.91) for skin color, − 0.76 (rho = − 0.76) for mean high winter temperature, − 0.66 (rho = − 0.68) for mean low winter temperature, and 0.63 (rho = 0.74) for real gross domestic product per capita. The correlations with population of country controlled for are almost identical. Our findings provide strong support for the observation of Lynn and of Rushton that persons in colder climates tend to have higher IQs. These findings could also be viewed as congruent with, although not providing unequivocal evidence for, the contention that higher intelligence evolves in colder climates. The finding of higher IQ in Eurasians than Africans could also be viewed as congruent with the position of Diamond (1997) that knowledge and resources are transmitted more readily on the Eurasian west–east axis.

LOL too funny
but I don't think IQ is a good marker of intelligence due to cultural bias in tests. What is necessary to be considered intelligent in Canada might leave you considered a real dumbass in Papua New Guinea, for example.

Lots of skills, such as reading and writing, are cross-cultural.

If intelligence was supposed to have developed in the colder climates.....why then does the foundations of our mathematical and scientific knowledge come from the deserts of the middle east and the tropical climates of south america? I don't think the inca's and aztecs had to endure a whole lot of harsh winters. I'd like to see someone give this an honest look and see what the effect of stepping away from organzid dogmatic thought patterns had on the progression of knowledge (ie IQ).

My nemesis: Those horrible little boxes that are shown unfolded with choices presented of what they will look like all folded up.
I am a reasonably intelligent person, but damned if I can answer any of those correctly.
If those are taken into account, then I am considered quite dull.
If not, then I'm just tops.

cuz thats where the aliens landed and infused knowledge upon the land.

I'm not the one trying to argue whether there is a correlation or not. The cut-and-paste is full of references -- PUBMED is your friend!

you know stats, and infuriatingly...so do i now, at least buisness stats. So I know how things can be massaged and manipulated. Not saying that's going on here....one would have to sift through their data and see how it was collected. But what do "you" think about my earlier point? If colder folks are supposed to be smarter, that must be a relatively recent phenomena because of our scientific foundations emanating from much much hotter regions. I'll have to check on this to make sure, but I think the foundations of calculus came from somewhere in the middle east and india...does it not? and astronomy, well those folks figured things out about our universe that today's scientists still can't figure out how they did it. They also never figured out just how the fuck the egyptians built the pyramids....and even if they had, that's still pretty fucking impressive for a stone cutting era society.

LMFAO. Movie material right there. It's probably been done many times already, but never really gets old.

I'd fact-check that calculus thing.

The most interesting theory I've read is that harsher climates with shorter days and shorter growing seasons requires more planning. Concepts such as planning and consequences originate in the frontal lobe. So the theory goes that our horribly energy inefficient and otherwise evolutionarily unsound neocortex was forced-bred upward because early humans who couldn't plan simply died off.

looks like it was an egyptian who was the first to calculate volume with an integral.

possibly helping at least rome/greece:
-the trickling in of northerners...greece and rome both are not far away from cold as fug places like albania or the alps.
and possibly some of these cold weathered folks trickled into egypt, lotsa ancient business travel between egypt and italy.

well I don't think a guy with the name "al hassan" or whatever his name was, was a viking bro. lol
