WOW Frackal! I'm not sure why, but I tend to illicit these types of responses from people. You seem to be no exception. I'm NOT saying that what they did to those people is right, but they DO have some responsibility in what happened to them! They were given 51 days to surrender. 51 days is a looong time. This is a free country, but we DO have laws and they are required to follow them just like the rest of us!! The idiot Branch Dividian adults are responsible for the slaughter of theose children!!!!

Ok!
Here's what I've gotten. This cult had guns that they said were legal, but the ATF wanted to check it out. Then they go on a raid in FEB that kills 9 people including some ATF. That starts the 51-day stand off.
Everyone has an itchy trigger finger. The FBI knocks down some walls and snippers shoot freely. Then some "flash-bang" gernades are thrown in thus igniting the flames.
When the trial comes the cult members left are not found guilty for anything, but the FBI and ATF agents could be guilty of murder.
So it looks like 2 wrongs don't make a right. If they didn't have anything to hide the cult should have given up in the beginning. Plus the FBI & ATF went overboard, made mistakes then did the usual business of covering them up.
