we all know that green leafy vegetables are good. low in calories and high in fiber. but what about other vegetables? i like to add them to foods so that they'll have more flavor but some, like potatos, have more carbs than we want. what other vegetables are good to eat? are carrots, onions, turnips and tomatos ok?

also, broccoli makes me feel bloated. anything i can do about that?

Spinach, broccoli, cauflower, peppers, cucumber, zucchini celery, cabbage, asparagus, mushrooms, onion, garlic and green beans are veggies I like that are high in fibre and low in cals. Some of these are really flavoursome, too.

However, I need to limit them now that I am bulking since the high fibre fills me up. That's why you feel bloated after eating broccolli, but your body should eventually get used to it.

Also, I cannot stand raw veggies but love them when they are steamed/grilled/baked.

Brocolli also has a nasty side effect... together with his cousin cauliflower and the relative cabbage they make for an explosive combination... Just because of that I keep my brocolly (and relatives) in check!!!

Having no other choice than to, again, agree with Tiggy, yep, the greener the better: peppers, leafy things, spinachs, etc are all good.
