Sounds like you are trying to cut down before you bulk up. Good way to go. You did not mention if you were taking any omega 3,6,9 essential fats. Make sure that you get some in your diet daily either by using olive oil and or eating some fish like salmon or trout. Sardines in olive oil are a good source too. When on a low carb diet you should supplement with some folic acid as well. Shoot for 400 mcg a day. I am on a low carb diet myself, however I allow 1/2c oatmeal in the morning and 60 grams fast acting carbs after my workout using Recover X by Muscle link. I allow a cheat day on Saturday to restore my glycogen store with low glycemic carbs throughout the day.
