VAR affecting Menstrual Cycle

Hi Everyone - can I just clarify the above??

I'm over 2 weeks late - I'm having all the symptoms but nothing??? Is this normal and is it the VAR?

I'm on 10mg per day week 8 - 10 mg last 3 weeks.

Thanks x

Well I cannot add my personal input in on this one... putting aside 2 pregnancies I have had an IUD for the past 4 years.... so for about 5 years I've had not a single period, LOL.... but this is NOT the first time I've heard this. I've seen various women lose cycles.... whether it's the var... or stress or a low BF%.... or a combination of all 3... it's usually chalked up to var use in the end. Would there be any other reason to worry about a missed period??? If you're concerned you may want to get an HPT test... but in the overall picture, I definitely wouldnt stop the var cycle over it... unless you're pregnant, LOL

Hi Annie72, I experience the same thing. I was on a small mg dosage than you, I had no side effects, however, I didn't get my period for the last 2 months.

There is no real normal as each women is diffrent and body evolve as well. My first cycle of Var I completly lost my period for 6 months bodyfat didn't even get that low like 16%. Now almost 6 years later I will still get my period when I am on unless my bf% is below 10% but my periods are exteremly light like 2-3 days spotting.

I am 8 weeks post competition and have been off var for almost 10 weeks now. I haven't had a period yet! It disappeared when I came off BC in December and hasn't come back since. Don't know if it's the BC pill, anavar or combination of the two to blame. I don't mind it though! Nice not having to deal with it monthly!

Depending on your bodyfat, var and if there was anything else you were taking, it's probably normal. If you're concerned that you might be pregnant though....grab a test. Don't rule it out - just in case.....
