Having learned my technique from the Anab Ref Guide (also from a registered nurse I briefly dated -- NO, not just to pick her brain!) I always use two points per injection: one to draw the fluid/s, then I screw on a fresh one to do the actual injection.
Do y'all do this? I'm asking because of Iron Game's post re. points bigger than 23 being too big. I've used 21Gs (got as box of 100 from the local needle exchange program -- yay) and have no problem as long as I switch to a fresh needle to inject.
Even pushing a point through a rubber stopper once can dull it significantly, causing pain and bleeding. Do you all switch points after drawing?
Next visit to the needle exchangers, though, I'll request 23s. The smaller the hole the better.
