Tyson's knockout, what a sham...

...that fight was going to turn out to be. It seems that these days more and more we are seeing bogus decisions in boxing, with fighters winning who don't deserve to win. Tyson's fight was headed that way. There was NO WAY that Williams was going to get a victory in that fight other than KOing Tyson. The referee taking 2 points away in the 2nd round? Blatant favoritism towards Tyson. Of course, Williams did hit Tyson after the break. But to take another point away from him for hitting below the belt? What a sham. If anyone watches boxing, they know that a fighter will get about two or three warnings before a point is deducted. Not in this case. Right off the bat, a point deduction! Then when Tyson went down, the ref stopped the count at five to send Williams to a neutral corner, then resumed counting at six! Even the commentators commented on that after the fight. Ordinarily, the count would keep going, even if the ref did something like he did in this fight. In other words, the ref should've came back and resumed the count at at least seven, or eight. Of course, this little lapse in counting favored Tyson, which what the ref was trying to do. Didn't help much, though. And if the ref is in on the fix, you know the judges were in on it, too. Money doesn't talk, it screams. Anyway, the next time they try to fix a fight, they better let the opponent in on it!

I'm a cynical bastard too, but I highly doubt this.
