Are turkey sandwiches any good for cutting? I'm talking about the lunch meat kind...THANKS

If you're talking about processed turkey slices - they're full of all sorts of crap.

You're better off getting breast slices, or cooking your own turkey and slicing it up.

How do I go about getting breast slices, do I go to the deli and ask or are they pre packaged? thanks bro

Ask at the deli. They may do pre-packaged ones as well, but the deli-staff will be able to advise you best.

I know that you can get them in the US as I got some when I was last there 6 months ago. I can't remember brand names or anything though.

Yeah i've always thought they wheren't helping me out but now I know thanks for the help !:)

yea I usally eat chicken breasts but sometimes I crave a turkey sandwich.......

For god's sake people bread will not kill you. Not everyone is on a low carb diet. I shredded massive fat last year and I had like 5-6 slices of bread a day. I would recommend that you choose a whole wheat variety to benefit from the fiber and nutrients. White bread has little nutrient value and is very high on the GI sides.

Here it is in the new century, people know for a fact that the absolute most important thing in dieting is calories, yet they still fall on these old beliefs that certain foods will cause you to get fat, or not be able to lose it. Look at the bodybuilders of the 70's and 80's. Low carb diets were not popular back then and they had absolutely no trouble getting lean. On top of that there was a lowfat craze going on as well which we know now is bad. Yet magically they were able to get lean.

It's calories people, calories. If you are low carbing then that is just another path to the same goal. I know for a fact that the average person can get lean without adopting a "lowcarb" diet and simply eating smaller portions of carbs at each meal, not going over 40% of total calories. I'd recommend higher protein but that's just me.
