What do you all do with your tuna to eat it? everything I do to it, it tastes like shit nowadays. I used to eat it plain, then mayo, then some spices, then some sauces...all very boring.

When bodybuilding , people eat for nutrition not for taste. But generally I use coconut oil as it is high fat and the fats are good. So the high fat nature of coconuts will carry the flavor of any seasoning through the food when cooking.

As far as canned tuna , it was meant to be eaten as is

I usually eat for nutrition as it is. but when eating tuna every day, it can get very boring, and sometimes gag on the tuna as i force feed it down. I was just looking for a healthy additive to my canned tuna to help me enjoy eating it. thank you for the reply of the coconut oil, I might try it with some cooking

Or you can buy chicken in bulk and forget about tuna altogether. I know lots of people who stopped eating tuna a long time ago and they still make great gains.

Other than that, salsa, BBQ sauce, Thai Peanut sauce, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Onion/Celery/Carrot mixture with mayo, low fat tartar sauce......

Ive gotten disgusted of tuna also, I just find I have to mix it with other things, like turkey chili or cottage cheese to drown out the horrible taste.

I've converted to chicken long ago.

... much happier for it :)

... just the sent of most fish nowadays makes me want to heave.

Spicing up tuna:

- Tabasco
- Any seasonings
- Ketchup (there are "Keto" ketchups out there, if that's a concern)
- hold your nose and choke it down :Chef:

the garlic and herb tuna packet is awesome, and i found one tuna that was spicy thai. just look around for the flavored ones. i used to make the herb and garlic on toast, and the spicy thai i used to eat with one pack of those ramen noodles that are chicken flavored (the ramen that you put in the microwave that comes with its own box).
