My left knee has this really common "tibula fibula" something or antoher deal going on. Basically the doc says my knee cap is incorrectly positioned and this allows the tibula to grind against the inside of the knee cap durring certian movements.
Stair master, and versa climber are pure hell and even a bike hurts a bit. Things like squats, are okay but not great. Leg extensions are torture. Anyhow, I want to do legs.
The doc got me this little donut brace that pretty much makes all the pain go away. No problem with heavy squats or leg extensions. I asked about doing legs with the brace on and he was basically like, "I cannot recommend that." While he said, "absolutely no" when I asked about roller blading and skiing. So, I interpret "cannot recommend" as "you'll probably be okay." Anyone have a similar situation? What have you done? Non-compund movements get old fast...
