Training for a 'contest'...

b fold the truth said:
Anyone else find it to be 'fun'?

Lots of pressure?

Workouts are more intense?

More structured life?

Learning a lot more about training AND your body???

1)Everybody deals with pressure differently. I personally find it as a way of allowing me to test myself. AND I believe I put more pressure on myself than anyone else.

2) Yes, more intense; that's to be expected. It's a "non thinking" process: contest coming up, therefore due to the anticipation and enthusiasm, my intensity heightens.

3) Sometimes. I eliminate whatever would get in the way as a contest nears. My BF begins to take on any "life load" that would get in my way.

4) Oh yeah. ALL the time. You learn how far you can push your body and how far that envelope will give.

Good questions, B! :D

makes me nervous as hell. but that's fun.

makes everything seem worthwhile..the food, training, rest, and the plan

bump...

I'd really like to see a few more inputs here...
