top protein that make you fart

Sorry about being gross ladies, stupid but realistic question for females , I know I'm not the only girl that protein makes fart, I have seen numerous post about it all over the net, I know some proteins make it worst than others, what are the top proteins that make you gas the most?

I just want to avoid those brands, thanks.

Well I'm not female. But I can tell you that when the main ingredient is whey concentrate, you'll Probably get more gassy than an isolate. I'll look into a couple brands if nobody else responds.

If you are experiencing gas from your protein powder, it is most likely because you are using a whey protein concentrate and not a pure whey protein isolate. A whey protein concentrate is about 80% protein by weight and will contain some fat and lactose (the milk sugar naturally found in dairy) per serving. Most adult humans are sensitive to lactose and the lactose in the protein powder will cause GI issues like gas, bloating etc.

What you want to be using is a pure whey isolate. There are a lot of good products on the market. The one I am currently using is isolation from n2bm.com. It is a pure whey isolate that is naturally flavoured and sweetened with the calorie free natural sweetener stevia.

It also depends on a lot of factors I would say. If you take protein with some sort of other foods or not, quantities, etc

I completely agree if you are using a whey concentrate then make the switch to an isolate. Another thing to consider is total protein content per meal. If you eat a meal that has 80g of protein you will have some digestion issues and that will result in bloating and gas as well.

That happens because most protein products are made with whey concentrate, a cheaper version of whey that has lactose in it, and as we all know it, lactose can cause stomach issues in many people. Therefore, it is best to choose protein products that are made with whey isolate only - it is the purest form of whey protein that has no lactose in it. Therefore, it will not cause any stomach problems at all. For instance, I really like the Isolation by N2BM - it is 100% whey isolate, and it has no artificial sweetners or additives, which make it an extremely clean product that is very easy on the stomach. Besides, it tastes really good (especially the colombian espresso for me), and the price is decent too.

I'm using Dr. Axe for this very reason! I'm really pleased with the results.
