Actually I've been against The Free Trade Agreement and NAFTA from the start. Other countries should be able to find creative entrepreneurial ways to compete in a global capitalist market. Not make agreements that stifle American economic interests so that they can compete. Yes I am a capitalist. I think the problems with our economy are corporatism. Corporatism is a phenomenon that arose out of capitalism where a bunch of non producers invest in a company. Then employees work for peanuts to make more money for the non producers. I think there are other more positive ways capitalism could be used.
I think corporatism is the problem. If investors were also producers the current American economy would be more productive. Problem is in a capitalist free market people can use that free market however they choose. Which is the coolest part of a free market.
I gather you're a socialist? You do realize that socialism is communism light right? Same problem but at the other end of the income spectrum. Instead of having a bunch of wealthy non-producers, you have a welfare state with a bunch of low income non-producers.

you "gather" i'm socialist? you gathered wrong mate. If anything what you're suggesting smacks mildly of socialism. Had I written what you just wrote, that sackless gelding plunkey would have been in here within seconds posting something while rythmically twitching his asshole around a giant black dildo.
If you stopped for a moment and asked before jumping off the "jump to conclusions mat"....you would have found that I kind of agree with your assessment. I think you're 100% right about production.

technically if you beleive in any form of centralized governing authority, you are a socialist. Capitalism by definition, the Austrian's not mine, is the absence of any central convening authority. The purists don't beleive in any govt whatsoever. They make a strong point that either you have no govt whatsoever or just go ahead and be commies. They beleive in the slippery slope.
