To All Personal Trainers/please Read

i want to become a personal trainer, and i was wondering if anyone here can tell me how. are there courses at colleges for that or do you go to a school for PT? what about the certification, do you take an exam where you do your education or do you choose one, for example at the ACE? or maybe you can help me with a website that will give me the info i need. thank you very much!!! i appreciate any info from you guys a lot.

With the NSCA you have to be a college grad or a senior on his way. ACE just requires you to study for an exam. Having a degree with an emphasis in exercise science helps but is not necessary. There's alot of other certification commissions, but these are two popular ones. The sites can tell more than I can.

correction. with CSCS under NSCA you have to be degreed or pursuing one. with NSCA-CPT you just have to be ready and get your CPR cert.
